Hackathon Platform at LACNIC45
Welcome to LACNIC.
As part of the event held from May 25 to 28, 2026 in
Panama City, Panama, LACNIC's hackathon platform will remain
available to attendees.
Important: this edition will not be held as a formal hackathon,
but you will still be able to access the platform, complete challenges,
and earn points as part of the event experience.
About this edition
The LACNIC45 experience will serve as a bridge between editions, keeping alive the spirit of innovation, experimentation, collaboration, and feedback that characterizes LACNIC's hackathon.
Participants will be able to explore improvements in key areas such as security, MiLACNIC services, policy compliance, and bulk information management, even without the traditional competitive structure.
Challenges on the Platform
The platform offers activities in the following categories:
- Policy Compliance: Evaluate and strengthen regulatory compliance processes.
- Security: Reinforce security for accounts and services.
- Membership: Explore and take advantage of LACNIC membership benefits.
- Services: Test and suggest improvements for MiLACNIC.
- Tools/Betas: Experiment with new beta features.
